Instructions
ROW 1: Make 90 chains slip stitch in first chain (make sure
chain is not twisted). Go up with 3 chains (this counts as the first double
crochet), make 21 double crochet, fan (2 double crochet, 1 separation chain, 2 double
crochet), 44 double crochet, fan (2 double crochet, 1 separation chain, 2 double
crochet) and 22 double crochet. Close row with a slip stitch. Let’s mark the
separation chain we’ve just made with a stitch marker, to easily remember where
we have to work the fan in the next row.
ROWS 2 – 5: Go up with 3 chains and make double crochet until
we get to the separation chain of the previous row’s fan. Inside the space make
1 fan (2 double crochet, 1 separation chain, 2 double crochet), keep making
double crochet, and when you get to the following fan of the previous row make
another fan inside the space (2 double crochet, 1 separation chain, 2 double
crochet). Keep making double crochet until the end of the row. Close row with a
slip stitch.
ROW 6: Go up with 3 chains + 1 chain, miss the next stitch
and make 1 double crochet, 1 separation chain. Repeat sequence until you get to
the fan of the previous row and make 1 fan inside the space (2 double crochet,
1 separation chain, 2 double crochet),
then 1 separation chain, miss next stitch and in the next stitch make 1 double
crochet. Repeat sequence until you get to the next fan of the previous row and in
the space make 1 fan (2 double crochet, 1 separation chain, 2 double crochet),
then 1 separation chain, miss next stitch and in the next stitch make 1 double
crochet. Repeat sequence until the end of the row. Close row with a slip
stitch.
ROWS 7 – 11: Same as in row 2.
ROW 12: Same as in row 6.
ROWS 13 – 17: Same as in row 2.
ROW 18: Same as in row 6.
ROWS 19 – 23: Same as in row 2.
ROW 24: Same as in row 6.
ROWS 25 – 29: Same as in row 2.
ROW 30: Same as in row 6.
Neck
ROWS 1 – 12: Go up with 1 chain, make 1 single crochet for
each stitch of the previous row. Directly knit 1 single crochet in order to
start the following row. Mark the beginning of the row with a stitch marker. Row
12 is the only one that I close with a slip stitch.
· Chain of 160 (Lace)
· Let’s insert the lace by the first row
of the double crochet we’ve made
· Make 2 pompons
· Sew one pompon to each end of the
lace.
