How to crochet baby dress with flower

Materials

Yarn (recommended for crochet 4.0mm)

Instructions

White colour   

ROW 1: Make 104 chains and join at the end with a single crochet in the first chain in order to start the following row (make sure the chain is not twisted). Mark the beginning of the row with a stitch marker.

ROW 2: 1 single crochet for each stitch of the previous row.

ROW 3: 7 single crochet and 1 increase. Repeat until the end of the row.

ROWS 4 - 28: Insert crochet in the following stitch, extract yarn, take a loop, insert crochet and extract yarn. In the crochet there must be 4, which must be closed simultaneously. Repeat until the end of the rows.

Pink colour 

ROWS 29 – 31: Insert crochet in the following stitch, extract yarn, take a loop, insert crochet and extract yarn. In the crochet there must be 4, which must be closed simultaneously. Repeat until the end of the rows.

Locate the upper part of the piece

Pink colour   

ROW 1: Make 1 single crochet for each stitch of the previous row. Close row with a slip stitch.

ROW 2: Go up with 2 chains, miss 2 stitches,   miss 2 stitches, 2 single crochet in the following stitches, 2 separation chains. Repeat sequence until end of row. 

ROW 3: 1 single crochet for each stitch of the previous row. Close row with a slip stitch.

White colour  

ROWS 4 – 7: 1 single crochet for each stitch of the previous row. Repeat until the end of the rows.

Front of the dress

Mark the ends of the dress

ROW 8: 1 single crochet for each stitch of the previous row.

ROWS 9 - 13: Go up with 1 chain, make 1 decrease, single crochet and 1 decrease with the last two stitches. Repeat until the end of the rows.  

ROW 14: Go up with 1 chain, make 2 decreases, single crochet, 2 decreases at the end of the row.

ROW 15: 1 single crochet for each stitch of the previous row.

ROW 16: Go up with 1 chain, 2 single crochet, 2 separation chains, miss 2 stitches, keep making single crochet. 4 stitches before the end make 2 separation chains and 2 single crochet.

ROW 17: 1 single crochet for each stitch of the previous row.

Braces (2)

ROW 1: 40 chains and make 1 single crochet for each stitch of the chain.

ROW 2 – 3: 1 single crochet for each stitch of the previous row. Repeat until the end of the row.

Back of the dress

Locate the back part of the dress - leave 4 stitches without crochet above and in the fifth stitch sew the brace. Repeat in the other part of the dress.

Flower

Pink colour

1 chain of 30 and make double crochet. For the lower part of the piece insert needle, then pull and sew at the end.

White colour

1.   Make magic ring of 12 single crochet and close it with a slip stitch. Go up with 15 separation chains and insert crochet in the following stitch, then make a slip stitch. Make another slip stitch in the following stitch and go up with 15 separation chain. Repeat until the end of the row.

2.   Make single crochet and in the middle of the petal make 1 triple increase. Keep making single crochet until you finish the petal and close it with a slip stitch. Repeat until you finish all the petals.

Put the pink part on top of the white one and sew the button on top of the flower.

Finishes

·     Make a pink border in the top part of the dress, using single crochet (including the braces)

·     Sew the buttons

·     Sew the flower  

·     Put the ribbon in the pink part.
