Crochet Bear Applique - Motif

Materials

Yarn (recommended for 4mm knitting needles)

Crochet hook (size 3mm)

Stitch Markers  

Eyes

Yarn needle 

Scissors

Instructions

ROW 1: Magic ring of 10 single crochet.

Directly knit 1 single crochet in order to start the following row. Mark the beginning of the row with a stitch marker.

ROW 2: 1 increase for each stitch of the previous row.

ROW3: 1 single crochet and 1 increase. Repeat until the end of the row.

ROW 4: 2 single crochet and 1 increase. Repeat until the end of the row. Close row with a slip stitch.

Cut the yarn.

Snout (grey)

ROW 1: Magic ring of 6 single crochet.

ROW 2: 1 increase for each stitch of the previous row. Close row with a slip stitch.  

Ears (2)

ROW 1: Magic ring of 6 single crochet (do not close the magic ring)

Colour change (grey)

ROW 2: 1 double crochet for each stitch of the previous row.  

Bear’s face:  

·     Sew the eyes

·     Sew the ears

·     Sew the snout to the face

·     Draw the smile
