Flower
ROW 1: Make 15 double crochet inside magic ring. Close row
with a slip stitch.
ROW 2: Go up with 4 chains (this counts as the first treble
crochet) - on the next stitch make 2 treble crochet, followed by 3 separation
chains and close with slip stitch in the same stitch where we made the 2 treble
crochet. Repeat sequence until end of the row. In total you’ll have 7 petals.
Close the last petal at the stitch that remains.
To decorate the bag:
- Locate
row 13.
- Use the flower as a reference to
locate the place where you will start to insert the ribbon. Once the site
is located, insert the ribbon at every other double crochet until we find the
double crochet where we began to complete the circle.
- Put the flower and insert the
two ribbons you have in the hole in the middle of the flower and make a
knot and then a bow.
- Cut off excess ribbons and burn
the ends of the ribbons with a lighter to prevent the ribbon strands from
coming loose and see a better finish.
