Tree
ROW 1: 1 Magic ring of 12 single crochet. Close the row with
a slip stitch.
ROW 2: Go up with 3 chains (equivalent to the
first double crochet) 11 double crochet. Close the row with a slip stitch.
ROW 3: 1 double crochet - 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row. Close the row with a slip stitch.
ROW 4: 5 double crochet - 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row.
ROW 5: 6 double crochet - 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row.
ROW 6: 7 double crochet - 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row.
ROW 7: 8 double crochet - 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row.
ROW 8: 9 double crochet - 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row.
ROW 9: 10 double crochet - 1 increase. Repeat until the end
of the row.
ROW 10: 11 double crochet
- 1 increase. Repeat until the end of the row.
ROW 11: 12 double crochet - 1 increase. Repeat until the end
of the row.
ROW 12: 13 double crochet - 1 increase. Repeat until the end
of the row.
ROW 13: 14 double crochet - 1 increase. Repeat until the end
of the row.
ROW 14: 15 double crochet - 1 increase. Repeat until the end
of the row.
Tree Base
ROW 1: Magic ring of 6 single crochet.
ROW 2: 1 increase in each stitch of the previous row.
ROW 3: 1 single crochet - 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row.
ROW 4: 2 single crochet – 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row.
ROW 5: 3 single crochet – 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row.
ROW 6: 4 single crochet – 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row.
ROW 7: 5 single crochet – 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row.
ROW 8: 6 single crochet – 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row.
ROW 9: 7 single crochet – 1 increase. Repeat until the end of
the row.
ROW 10: 8 single crochet – 1 increase. Repeat until the end
of the row.
ROW 11: 9 single crochet – 1 increase. Repeat until the end
of the row.
To arm the tree
1. Fill the tree
2. Sew the tree to the base
3. Tape the ribbon around the base
4. Stick the buttons all over the tree
5. Put a star or a ribbon loop on the tip of the
tree.
